Highly elastic adhesive mixture for large format tiles GIRtech CA-BudGrip

is a professional solution for facing surfaces exposed to high mechanical and thermal loads. The mixture is specially optimized for working with large-format materials (over 1 m2), including heavy porcelain stoneware and natural stone with stable color. The glue provides maximum ease of use due to its high thixotropy and water-holding capacity.

Scope of use:
-for facing with ceramic and porcelain stoneware tiles, as well as large-format tiles made of artificial and natural stone (over 1 m2);
– for concrete, brick, cement-sand, cement-lime, gypsum, other mineral and organic surfaces (bases);
– for vertical and horizontal surfaces, including those that deform;
– used for cladding over laid tiles, durable paintwork, gypsum and anhydrite bases (exclusively indoors);
– for cladding inside and outside premises;
– for cladding heated floors, facades, terraces, balconies and tanks with technical water;
– cladding is possible in places with intensive traffic and high mechanical loads.

Substrate preparation:
– the base must be dry, strong and even, with uniform water absorption;
– clean the surface from dust, deposits, oil stains and other substances that reduce adhesion;
– local surface irregularities (up to 20 mm) are recommended to be leveled during tiling;
– weak areas of the base must be removed and repaired;
– if there are significant surface irregularities (over 20 mm), repair must be carried out;
– all surfaces for cladding must be primed.

Preparation of the adhesive solution:
1. Pour water into a clean container (water temperature from +15C to +20C),
Calculation of water:
– 0.30 l per 1 kg of dry mixture (8.5 l per 25 kg) for vertical surfaces;
– 0.35 l per 1 kg of dry mixture (11 l per 25 kg) for horizontal surfaces.
2. Gradually add the dry mixture and mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained;
3. Let the solution stand for about 5 minutes, then mix again;
4. The solution can be used within 3 hours.
